Honoring Executive Director Barbara Suber

A legacy measured in lives helped

46years of dedicated service — and approaching 47

For nearly five decades, Executive Director Barbara Suber has worked to strengthen housing and build a more caring Buffalo Island community. Her service has extended far beyond the Housing Authority office — from gathering donations and writing grants to organizing food assistance for local children and families.

Through the B.I.B.L.E. food program — Buffalo Island Better Life Experience — the Housing Authority helped send weekend food backpacks home with Buffalo Island Central students and made additional food available to families throughout the community.

With sincere gratitude, Monette honors Barbara Suber for her extraordinary dedication, hard work, generosity, and steadfast commitment to helping others.
