Opened August 15, 2026, Monette's modern fire station provides the city's volunteer firefighters with more space, drive-through apparatus bays, specialized rescue resources, and a facility designed to serve a growing community for years to come.
The new station represents a major investment in public safety, firefighter readiness, and long-term community resilience.
The 14,400 sq. ft. facility measures approximately 90 × 160 ft. and includes five drive-through apparatus bays, allowing fire apparatus to enter from one side and exit through the other. The station was built to support both the department's current operational needs and future growth.
"We are always looking to the future."
